Thorne Environmental Ltd is the main contracting business within the Thorne Group of Companies.

Our principal activity is bulk earthworks, primarily for the brownfield development sector and for the reclamation of former industrial sites.

With access to the extensive plant resource within the Thorne Group, backed by an experienced management team, we have the ‘in house’ capability to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Specialist areas of competence include landfill engineering and the placement of lining systems.

We are also fully competent at breaking out underground concrete structures, crushing and screening made ground, treatment or disposal of contaminated soils to deliver fully validated and warranted development platforms.
