Demolition of two Jetties utilising Marine Plant

The complicated demolition of a concrete and steel pile structure using Landing Craft and Excavator, followed by demolition of timber Jetty using the same excavator and vessel with chainsaw attachments to cut the timber piles.

The vessel we operate is able to carry machines up to 80t and has in the past carried a Komatsu 650, long reach excavator. This vessel is MCA Class 2 coded to enable it to travel up to 60 miles off shore, however as it has only a 1.2m draft it is able to work in inland waterways such as the River Trent and River Ouse. We have priced a number of large piers and jetties that require dismantling and we have designed this system specifically for these contracts.
